Nursery Funding

  • All three and four year olds are entitled to Early Years funded sessions through the Nursery Education Grant. Funding is available and starts in the term after your child’s 3rd birthday. This will mean a reduction in your payments and even larger reductions if you also qualify for the 30 hours grant. These reductions are indicated in our fee list under the ‘Nursery School’ column. If you have any questions regarding the fees or how it can benefit you please do not hesitate to speak to a member of the Management Team for more details.

  • Some two year old children are entitled to Early Years funded sessions through the Nursery Education Grant. Funding is available and starts as soon as your child turns 2. This funding is not universal and has a selection criteria. To see if you are eligible and apply for the funding please visit the following site:

  • This is a funding available for working families who are claiming Universal Credit. It covers up to 85% of eligible childcare costs for families who aren't able to claim Tax Free Childcare.

You could claim up to £646 a month for one child or £1,108 per month for two or more children. This is for families where both parents are working or due to start work.

If you get Tax-Free Childcare, you’ll set up an online childcare account for your child. For every £8 you pay into this account, the government will pay in £2 to use to pay your provider.

You can get up to £500 every 3 months (up to £2,000 a year) for each of your children to help with the costs of childcare. This goes up to £1,000 every 3 months if a child is disabled (up to £4,000 a year).

You can get Tax-Free Childcare at the same time as 30 hours free childcare if you’re eligible for both.
