Minibeast Hunting

The children in Pre-Prep have been fascinated with their topic Minibeasts, they have been using the bug pots to hunt for them in the garden but also around the classroom - they found lots of Minibeasts hiding in the oats! Minibeast hunts are a great way for children to learn all about habitats as well as promoting children’s patience, numeracy, speech, language & communication skills and also food chains. This is a simple activity that can be done at home with the children and if you find any Minibeasts at home or on your walks why not put a post on Tapestry!
